As Earth's shadow fell over the moon last night, so did a deep crimson color. A rare and amazing natural occurrence, People from all around the world watched in awe at the same time, and for a few brief moments everyone was silent. Everyone watching was able to think about something bigger than themselves, all of us fixed on one bright object in the sky. When I uploaded this tutorial a few days ago, I didn't even realize the Super Blood Moon Eclipse was coming so soon. Now it is a happy coincidence to celebrate the eclipse!

It's that time of year again - Pumpkin Spice Latte time! Time to spend all of your hard earned money on expensive cups of coffee...or is it?
I was just experimenting with my coffee when I came up with this super simple, super affordable, homemade version of the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I'm willing to bet you already have everything you need right in your kitchen! You will need:
1. Before putting the coffee in the filter, first add 2 dashes of cinnamon and 2 dashes of nutmeg. 2. Next, put the scoop of coffee in and brew normally. 3. Add sugar and half and half to taste. 4. Top with whipped cream and a dash more of each spice, and enjoy! With the Autumnal Equinox quickly approaching, I have been looking for different ways to decorate and incorporate Fall into my life and my videos. This leave backdrop is now my go to background when filming for Fall videos. This would also be great for photos, or just some decor on the wall. Since this tutorial is pretty self-explanatory, I thought I would make a blog post about it and show some photos along the way. What you will need:
1. Begin by tying your needle to the end of the fishing line, and cut as much as you need for your first string of leaves. You will also want to tie a knot at the opposite end of the fishing line. 2. Next, poke the needle through the back of your first leaf, and back through from the front. You should now have one clear stitch at the bottom of your leaf. Slide the leaf down to the other end of your line and tie a knot under it so that it doesn't slide back down. Continue this process, spacing the leaves out however you want them. 3. When you get to the end of your first string, decide where you want your backdrop and tape up the first string. (You can also tie all of them to a stick so they are all together, but it is up to you.)
4. Repeat these steps until your backdrop is as full as you want. That's it! It's pretty simple and very customizable, I hope this gives you some fall inspiration! Thanks for reading! Check out some of my favorite items from August in my new video! It's been quite awhile since I've been on my site here, and for that I apologize. As you can see though, I've done some re-designing and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I hope that this new set up will encourage me to post more regularly. If you have anything you want me to make a post about, just let me know! For instance, if you need me to go more in depth on a tutorial or you want me to post about my favorite cruelty free products.
Anyway, welcome to my new site and if you have any suggestions be sure to leave a comment! This relatively quick and simple tutorial is perfect for festivals, vacations, or just lounging at home!
Hey everyone! So sorry I've been away from my blog for such a long time. I focus more on my video tutorials, but I'm hoping to keep up with this site more. I'm in my final few weeks of my first year of college so I haven't had much time for tutorials. Especially since I'm not at home. However, when I get home for the summer, you can expect a lot of new content.
A few weeks ago, I also started a new vlog channel (pherylovlogs). I'm trying to upload regularly on both channels, but as aforementioned that may not take hold until summer. In the mean time, if you have any requests, do let me know! Have a lovely day! |
Cheryl PoeI post videos on my YouTube channel showing DIYs, cruelty free beauty, and fashion. Here I will be posting similar content, along with some of my favorite spots I find. I hope you like my blog and enjoy your stay! Archives
